SKAGEN - Today I kill you

A trailer for the show TODAY I KILL YOU by theatre collective SKAGEN.

TODAY I KILL YOU tells a universal story in a way that displays all aspects of the complex nature of the relationship between a mother and son: the love, eroticism, anger, desire for distance, never letting go, needing each other, fantasies, projections, taboos, words unspoken, too many words, self-hate and narcissism.

The show doesn’t take place in the confinement of a theater, but in a parking lot, on the street or in a warehouse. Mother and son are on their way in the car. They get into an intense discussion. They pull over to talk it out. Talking it out takes the entire show. Getting in and out of the car, not knowing where to start, where to go and where to return. Until they arrive somewhere. The audience witnesses it all.
