Leuven 2030

What if bricks and buildings... could talk? Leuven 2030 is working hard to transform the city into a climate-neutral space. And of course, the city is made up of a lot of... buildings!

That's why the ELENA-project L.E.U.V.E.N. was launched, short for 'Lower Energy Use Via an Extraordinary Network'. Over the past three years, this network of 24 partners - big and small - invested (more than 40 million euros) in energy-saving measures. They renovated buildings, shared knowledge and experiences, and looked into how several large buildings can work together to become even more energy-efficient. Unique collaborations came about between those managing public and private properties, resulting in energy-saving measures that wouldn't have been possible if we didn't think beyond familiar configurations and the things that we already know.

The project ended last month and we were asked to help them tell their story and translate this project into an inspirational & impactful video. We decided to turn the view around and let the buildings speak for themselves...
